TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and more info the click here bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
